The Red Run made its return for the fifth year in June, with hundreds of runners taking on the stunning countryside routes for a 5km and 10km race.

Thanks to all those who took part, donated on the day, and fundraised, a huge £12,467.63 was raised this year!

That incredible sum tips the overall fundraising by the Red Run to £100,000 since 2017! A phenomenal achievement and one the charity is so grateful to have benefitted from.

Every penny counts

All admin costs are fully funded by Balmoral Group

We are in the unique position that every penny of your pounds raised goes directly to the cause. No costs deducted for the fundraising team salaries. Nor for any administration costs. Neither is there a percentage taken from your donation for the running costs involved in operating the fundraising office.

Since the charity was founded in 1997, every penny of these running and administration costs have been fully covered by Balmoral Group. With all these expenses taken care of, your money is freed up to make a direct difference in the lives of cancer and haematology patients throughout the North-east of Scotland.
